Sound Healing

The vibration of sound helps us to drop in and access interior layers at the beginning of sessions, and also to recalibrate and come back after deep processing and vulnerability.

I work with several instruments, including Crystal Tones Singing Bowls, the Shruti Box, Chimes, Tuning Forks, the Shamanic Drum, and other Percussive elements including Segitiga, a custom Gamelatron by Aaron Taylor Kuffner

Yoga & Breathwork

I am trained in Kundalini Yoga & Pranayama, Yin Yoga, and Guided Breathwork & Sound Journeys. Pranayama and chanting can activate certain areas of the brain and calm others, helping you move from a state of anxiety into groundedness. The long holds in Yin Yoga provide the time to feel into Parts of you in deeper ways. Yoga with IFS can both shift your energy and expand your self awareness.

Meditation

My Meditation Journey began with 10 day Vipassana Courses in the Berkshires. These were extremely challenging as meditating just made me angry at the time! I learned here that my Self nature exists beyond my mind, and that most everything I had experienced with substances could also be achieved sober, with significant patience. I have held Meditation groups online, in New York, and Lisbon. My current practice is most influenced by Mindfulness meditation, as learned from Ralph de la Rosa, and incorporates Parts Work and Guided Visualizations.
