I was born on unceded Wampanoag Territory, known as Massachusetts. My parents told me I had Cherokee blood and my Native name was ‘Running Deer’. Though I later learned this was not true, I’m grateful for my founding orientation with Indigenous peoples, whose knowledge informs my path. Another gift i received from my birth family was an emphasis on spiritual life.
I was raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains, worked in Architecture in Italy, and spent a decade running my vintage store in NYC. Life offered me many paths, but I felt closest to my calling while apprenticing with a Shaman for several years. Here I discovered my love for holding space. My focus became Integration- to help others prepare for and implement helpful changes after deep consciousness experiences. My personal healing journey led me to Internal Family Systems Therapy while taking a Meditation course.
The IFS therapy process provides healing experiences which mirror those associated with plant medicine, in a safe and sober setting. As an IFS Practitioner I offer sessions to find more inner freedom, supported by sound, breathwork, and somatics.
Since moving to Portugal in 2021, I am working to spread awareness about the importance of Grounded Facilitation. There are a variety of consciousness expanding experiences to choose from, and I work to empower individuals to ask more questions and carefully evaluate their potential facilitators before entrusting the safety of their mind and body to another’s care.
I am a Level 2 Internal Family Systems Practitioner, Somatics & Integration Guide, Experience Designer, Yoga Teacher & Lover of Sound & Nature. I am CoCreator of Casa Eira Retreat Center in Portugal.
